What is success?

Three stages that we all go through.

1. My grades, my projects, my promotions. Recognition to oneself. ME.

2. I cannot do everything on my own. New responsibilities. Creating a team that delivers. Still it’s MY team.

3. Creating something that can run even after you have faded away. Being comfortable without any acknowledgment.

Today we see several leaders who are flamboyant, loud, and very visible.

But there are many hidden leaders. We don’t talk about them. They don’t have the desire to be remembered. They know they are not permanent.

“A leader is best when people barely know he/she exists...
..when work is done, aims fulfilled, they will all say, ‘We did this ourselves’.
